The Scope Of Work Includes Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Removal, Disposal And Replacement Of Two Sections Of Town Recreational Paths Totaling Approximately 900 Lf Of Bituminous Concrete Sidewalk, Topsoiling And Reseeding To Establish Lawn, And Installation Of Ada Compliant Bituminous Sidewalk Ramps And Related Work As Specified. Scope of Work: Bituminous asphalt sidewalk replacement: Remove existing bituminous asphalt along the entire length of each section of sidewalk path (approx. combined total of 900 lf) Reconstruct base as needed, following Town sidewalk construction specifications, including removal of intrusions such as roots, rocks, etc Apply 2" of bituminous asphalt overlay, following Town sidewalk specifications, to the entire length of the both sections of sidewalk path (approx. 900 lf) Install two (2) ADA compliant sidewalk ramps with adhesive backed (replaceable) ADA compliant Detectable Warning Surfaces one each at the connection with Vincent Drive and at Hearthstone Drive. Backfill, rake and seed, as required to provide a flush surface and safe transition between walking surface and adjacent surfaces.
