Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, disposal services, and incidental items necessary to repair Freezer #10 serving Nutrition and Food Services. Work includes scheduling and coordinating activities with the designated facility representatives, complying with Lockout/Tagout procedures, obtaining required hot work permits, and protecting existing equipment during repair operations. The contractor shall furnish and install cylinders, fittings, hangers, new tubing, piping, insulation, IRP heat cable, and electrical support for a 240V heat cable. Upon completion of repairs, the contractor shall perform startup activities and conduct temperature trending of the freezer for a minimum of three consecutive calendar days to verify proper operation and corrective action. The contractor must provide all required permits, inspection reports, safety documentation, and a final report containing testing results, photographs, and records of completed work within 10 business days after completion. All on-site personnel must meet OSHA certification requirements, and the contractor shall submit a safety plan before work begins. A minimum two-year warranty covering all parts, labor, workmanship, and equipment furnished under the contract is required. Contractors must demonstrate experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration and freezer repair and maintain a field service representative located within 200 miles of the facility.
