Construction of a new skating facility. The goals for this specific Project are 30% SLBE participation The construction of approximately 16000 Square Feet skating facility will includes the following principal items: 1. coordinating construction sequencing, site safety and logistics together with local subcontractors. New Line Skateparks be responsible for project and site management during the course of construction. 2. Build a custom concrete skatepark facility that reflects the approved Construction Drawings, Specifications and known site conditions. This work will INCLUDE: o o . o o o o All necessary project bonding and insurance as specified in the contract documents. Site mobilization, temporary facilities, clean-up and demobilization. Bulk civil work: All necessary civil work operations including demolition and removals (where necessary), subgrade establishment and installation of subbase material. Installation of the drainage and stormwater management improvements. Specialty/detailed civil works and feature shaping: installation and fine shaping of all granular base materials. Specialty concrete work: complete all work associated with the forming, placing and finishing of all concrete and shotcrete terrain features and rideable flatwork. Specialty steel work: complete all work associated with the fabrication and installation of steel work including steel coping/edging, grind rails and other miscellaneous steel, including the preparation of shop drawings. Obtain Substantial Completion and Final Acceptance certificates from the City for the identified scope of work, including provision of a one-year warranty period following Substantial Completion. Preparation of a maintenance manual for the skatepark component, identifying recommended regular maintenance activities and repair methods for wear and tear caused by typical use All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents may be directed to the Project Manager listed at the end of these Instructions to Bidders.
