The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following The Work consists of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the installation and hook up of utilities and sitework needed for the new modular Temporary Classroom Unit (TCU) Annex structure. The work includes underground sanitary, water, secondary electrical lines, and conduit for fire alarm and IT cabling from the existing school building; interior connections and tie-ins to existing utility lines inside the school building including concrete slab trenching and patching; new electrical panels; new feeders to exterior mounted TCU electric panels ; piping, insulation and heat trace of piping below the TCU floor and connections to TCU water and sanitary drops. Site work includes new fencing, basketball back stop removal , underground storm piping and tie in to existing storm drainage system, trenching, and paving patching. General Contractor shall provide chain link temporary fencing around work site for duration of project. Modular TCU building , stairs, ramps and all footings will be provided and installed by others. General Contractor shall coordinate underground utility work and trenching with new footings and foundations. All IT and Fire Alarm devices and cabling will be installed by others. General Contractor to provide conduit runs from existing school building to TCU It room only.
