Site work and renovation of a civil project in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and development.
Rehabilitation of bridges and retaining walls. This project consists of the preservation of three City of Sioux Falls bridges on Veterans Parkway; these bridges include Str. No. 50-240-171 (Southbound Veterans Parkway over the Big Sioux River and BNSF Railroad), 50-240-174 (Veterans Parkway over Ellis & Eastern Railroad), and 50-241-171 (Northbound Veterans Parkway over the Big Sioux River and BNSF Railroad). The work on all three bridges will consist of replacing the membrane sealant expansion joints and applying a concrete penetrating sealer to the bridge decks and approach slabs. There are other various bridge preservation measures incorporated into this project including, sidewalk panel replacement, spall repair, joint grinding, approach railing replacement, pedestrian railing repairs, and joint drain improvements.
