Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Atmore, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
These Special Specifications apply to the Walking Trail Improvements at Houston Avery Park for the City of Atmore, Alabama, consisting of the removal of existing asphalt walking trail , placement of topsoil in removed-trail areas, resurfacing of existing asphalt walking trail , construction of new asphalt walking trail with sand/clay base, associated grading and drainage, erosion control, seeding & mulching, and solid sodding, all as shown on the attached plans and as specified herein. Questions regarding the bid documents shall be directed to Chase Cotton , P.E. , Civil Southeast, LLC at 334.488.0933 or chase@civilse.com . Principal items of work include removal of 1,600 SY of existing asphalt walking trail, 340 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Wearing Surface (resurfacing and new trail), 2,450 SY of 4 Compacted Sand/Clay Base, 2,600 SY of Solid Sod, and related appurtenances.
