Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The purpose of the project is to build an access road and parking area for an existing elementary school. The site is located off of Dudley Shoals Rd approximately 650 Ift northeast from the intersection of Dudley Shoals Road SR 1002 and Fowler Rd SR 1747 in Caldwell County. The project consists of demolition of existing concrete, grading, ~1,681 linear feet of paved roadway, paving of an existing 19 space gravel parking lot, as well as associated signage, markings, ESC measures, and stormwater structures. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC or a Bid Bond prepared on the form of Bid Bond contained in the Bidding Documents or a Surety Companys standard form and properly executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds. The amount of the bid bond shall be equal to five (5) percent of the total of the bid. The bid deposit shall be retained by the Owner if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or fails to provide the required bonds, as stated above, within ten (10) days after the proper notice of award of the contract.
