Demolition and replacement of generators at the Veterinary Hospital, Greenhouse, and Desert Pavilion. Installation of new automatic transfer switches (ATS) at all locations, modifications to distribution systems to incorporate new generators, and associated electrical infrastructure work. The construction will consist of demolition and replacing of generators at the Veterinary Hospital, Greenhouse, and Desert Pavilion. New automatic transfer switches will also be installed at all three locations. The project will also include other electrical items associated with the generator upgrades and modifications of distribution to incorporate generators/ATS's into system and miscellaneous construction items at each location. All generators and ATS's will be owner provided and will be stored onsite. Base bid for this project will consist of the installation and construction of the generator, ATS, and all construction items at the Veterinary Hospital and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Alternate 1 will be the installation and construction associated with the generators and ATS at the Greenhouse complex. Alternate 2 will be the installation and construction associated with the generators and ATS at the Desert Pavilion. Base and alternate bids should include any work/transportation associated with relocating the generators and ATS's from storage areas onsite to the construction areas for installation . Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The full plan deposit will be returned to those bidders provided all documents are returned in BOUND, good , usable condition within ten (10) days after the bid date
