Site work for a road / highway in Seffner, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for replacement of 7 existing generators along SR 570 and SR 589, in Polk, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando Counties, Florida. The existing generators provide redundant power for ITS devices but are approaching the end of service life. The back-up power includes diesel fuel generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs) and Manual transfer switches at or near each commercial power supply location to substitute the conventional power during outages for a minimum of 72 hours without refueling. The backup generators shall communicate with Traffic Management Center (TMC) through the Ethernet IP network and will include Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) devices to provide monitoring capabilities.
