Renovation of a transportation facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,650-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility.
Schedule: 506 Calendar Days Minority Requirements: 35% MBE & 8% WBE The project includes the renovations of public restroom spaces within Terminal 5 (T5). The project scope is comprised of four (4) locations of multi-user restroom pairs and adjacent single user restrooms in the upper and lower levels of T5. The approximate restroom sizes range from 650 SF to 1,650 SF. The primary objective of the restroom renovations is to simplify maintenance ensuring facilities remain clean, durable, and easy to service. Additionally, the project seeks to improve passenger experience throughout updated design standards. Trades included but not limited to: Selective Demolition, Cement Underlayment, Metal Fabrications, Decorative Formed Metal, Rough Carpentry, Millwork, Solid Surface Fabrications, Plastic Paneling, Firestopping, Joint Sealants, D/F/H, Access Door & Panels, Coiling Doors & Grilles, Glazing, Mirrors, Glazing Surface Film, Drywall, Tiling, Acoustical Ceilings, Resilient Flooring, Resinous Matrix Terrazzo Flooring, Painting, Concrete & Masonry Coatings, Signage, Toilet Compartments & Accessories, Stone Countertops, Service Animal Relief Area, Firs Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical & Fire Alarm.
