Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete Project 626-25-104 Garage Suicide Prevention. Work includes demolition and new construction involving general construction, civil, architectural, electrical, low-voltage, industrial hygiene, and associated work required by the specifications and drawings. The project also includes the installation of a fall deterrent system and related lighting. Deduct options include removal of the fall deterrent system and lighting scope, and removal of all lighting fixtures from the project scope as identified in the contract documents. All materials and workmanship shall be warranted for one year unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall provide 10% spare lighting fixtures and complete all work, including submittals, procurement, inspections, and closeout, within 180 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Work must be phased and coordinated to minimize disruption to medical center operations and may require night, weekend, and evening work. The contractor shall maintain site safety, provide daily safety and construction reports, coordinate utility shutdowns, protect adjacent facilities, maintain housekeeping throughout construction, and comply with all applicable OSHA, VA, NFPA, and Joint Commission requirements. Firestopping of all penetrations, approved staging and material storage, certified inspections, and final project closeout are included within the scope.
