Renovation of a military facility in New Boston, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Construct an approximately 8,000-square-foot drive-through Depot Maintenance Shop to support non-destructive testing (NDT) of tactical vehicles, combat vehicles, and vehicle components. The facility will be used to evaluate weld integrity, detect internal defects, assess structural capability, and determine the condition of asset materials. The project includes radiation protective shielding to enable existing industrial x-ray equipment to operate safely at full capacity and support future upgrades and improvements. The facility will also consolidate and expand capabilities for ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant testing, magnetic particle inspection, laser scanning operations, and associated training activities. The existing x-ray facility will be demolished as part of the project. The Target Price Range (TPR): The Government has established a TPR for construction estimated to be between $8,000,000 and $8,500,000. The Construction Cost Limit (CCL) is estimated at $8,175,103.00 with a total Programmed Amount (PA) of $8,100,000. Location: Red River Army Depot, 100 James Carlow Drive, Texarkana, TX 75507. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
