General Project Description: This project involves the updating of the interior of the 2 story 90 ' x 40' building for the DNR staff and the public. Ceiling, wall and floor finishes, window treatments, storage shelving, lighting fixtures and toilet room fixtures will be replaced. Exterior siding / flashing will be replaced in two small areas and the main entry concrete stoop replaced. Portions of the electrical system will be upgraded. The project will maintain the historic character of the building/site, but update and modernize the environment for efficiency, morale and safety of the occupants. The building will remain occupied by WiDNR staff and open to the public throughout the duration of the Work. Accordingly, all on-site construction activities shall be performed in phases in accordance with Sheet AN2 - Construction Phasing Plans included in the Contract Documents
