Asphalt replacement and repair project, categorized as highway or unclassified work. Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Engineer will be the initial interpreter of the requirements of the Contract Documents and judge of the acceptability of the Work thereunder. All matters in question and other matters between Owner and Contractor arising prior to the date final payment is due relating to the acceptability of the Work, and the interpretation of the requirements of the Contract Documents pertaining to the performance of the Work, will be referred initially to Engineer in writing within 30 days of the event giving rise to the question. Scope of Work: The asphalt replacement will be in areas identified by CFPUA Operation's staff. The areas needing replacement will include streets in City of Wilmington and New Hanover County. Most of the replacement will be in public right of way and easements. If private property is involved Authority Staff will coordinate with property owner. The areas will be identified by square footage. Inquiries concerning the bid shall be directed to the CFPUA Purchasing Division by email to bids@cfpua.org. Deadline for questions is Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM
