In the midst of a housing crisis, it is pursuing its vision of building affordable housing now and for the long term across the Montreal area. As a non-profit paramunicipal organisation, the SHDM helps to maintain and increase the supply of residential rental accommodation for a diverse range of tenants, including those in vulnerable situations, and to promote access to home ownership. In this context, the SHDM is inviting tenders for the following project: General Repairs to the Building Envelope DESCRIPTION: The contract involves carrying out, on a lump-sum basis, work to replace metalwork, fabricated metal components and their finishes, as well as doors and windows. It also includes external refurbishment work and the repair of the waterproofing membrane on the roofs of the building situated at 1666-1680 Rue de Chambly, in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough of Montreal.
