In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: Replacement of approximately 1,560 feet of the 36-inch Westerly Youngstown Transmission Main on Four-Mile Run Road between Lanterman Road and Central Avenue in Austintown Township, Mahoning County, Ohio. Construction duration = 244-Calendar days from Notice of Award. Replace approximately 1,560-LF of existing 36" diameter steel water transmission line with 36" ductile iron waterline with restrained joints and fittings, along the western side of Four Mile Road. Existing access manholes are shown in the plan on the existing waterline. They are to be removed in locations shown in the plan as a part of the waterline removal work. Valve vault improvements at the beginning and end points of the project extents. The vault areas defined as follows: The first valve vault is located 400 ' North of Lanterman Road, and is at the west side of Four Mile Run Road. This existing vault houses MVSD valves YW-25 and YW-27X The waterline replacement will begin at the southern side of the "Lanterman vault", including modifications to the vault top slab an walls to accommodate the new pipe and jointing materials. The blowoff valve YWB- 175 will also be replaced within this vault area. The second valve vault is located in between approximately 100' south of Central Avenue. This MVSD vault houses valves YW-29X, YW-31 , and YW33X. The waterline replacement will extend into the Northern side of the vault, to accommodate the new jointing materials and piping. The vault top slab and walls will require modification to remove the existing waterline and connect the new waterline to the vault. Additionally, the blowoff valve assembly YWB-190B will be required to be replaced as a part of this work
