The intent of this project is to replace existing two back-up generators and associated electrical infrastructure as noted in attached construction drawings and specifications. FCI Three Rivers will remain operational during the entire project. The contractor shall submit a phasing plan for approval that minimizes electrical outages to the greatest extent possible, while providing the labor and resources necessary to accomplish work that requires those outages in the shortest timeframe possible. For all outages exceeding 24 hours, the contractor shall provide temporary means to supply affected facilities with electrical power during the construction process. Replace generators, transformers, and associated electrical infrastructure. Work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals required to remove and replace existing electrical utility components and upgrade facility electrical systems in accordance with the statement of work. The contractor shall perform all construction-related activities necessary to complete the generator, transformer, and electrical infrastructure replacement project, including installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of the new systems. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 to $20,000,000.
