Scope The work covered under this Contract involves furnishing the necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals for the encapsulation, enclosure, repair and/or removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead containing materials (LCM ) and the abatement of exposed hazards at various locations in Nassau BOCES and the participating school districts. This Contract is intended to cover a number of individual locations dealing with the abatement and disposal of ACM , LCM and other potentially hazardous materials. Nassau BOCES or a participating school district, from time to time, shall identify, by work order, individual work locations and the Contractor shall submit an estimated cost and schedule for each work order. The estimated costs shall be in accordance with the requirements described in Section II, Payment Items, and the scope of each individual work order as issued by Nassau BOCES, a participating school district, or their appointed representative. When agreed to by Nassau BOCES or a participating school district, the Contractor will be authorized to proceed.
