Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Plattsburgh, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
This project includes various improvements to the existing passenger boarding bridge located at Gate 4, including replacement of the canopy, interior and exterior bridge painting, replacement of the cab motor, flooring, and floor heating system. Other safety-critical repairs include replacement of limit switches and safety sensors, and a new central control console, along with new Preconditioned air (PCA) and ground power units (GPU). The Project will be performed and constructed by the Sponsor with grant assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. Any questions regarding the bidding of this project shall be directed, in writing only, to Clinton County Purchasing Agent: Kristin Eilers: Kristin.Eilers@clintoncountygov.com A Bidder who discovers discrepancies or omissions with the project bid documents shall immediately notify the Owner's Engineer of the matter. A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owner's Engineer a written request for interpretation no later than 7 calendar days prior to bid opening.
