Mechanical renovation work at Newark High School. Project includes all trades and requires a Bidder Responsibility process as described in Section 01 00 00. Work included under this section shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following: Perform demolition work as necessary to accomplish the work, including the removal and proper disposal of items which are exposed and not to remain in use, including but not necessarily limited to slabs , structural items, walls, roofing, flashings, finishes, ceilings, framing, trim, specialties, equipment, casework, plumbing, mechanical and electrical items, etc Include items exposed such as sewer, water and electrical lines which may require capping per city or utility company requirements. Properly dispose of demolished material and such other obstacles required for a complete and proper installation of new work and the disposition of materials incidental to this work. Erection of barricades, etc., to protect existing building areas. Protection of existing utilities. Repair to building areas, utilities damaged during demolition Demolition in specific building locations to the extent described on the drawings and/or required to construct the work shown. Remove protection when work is complete. Rubbish and debris shall be promptly removed from building as to minimize dust within the building. Coordinate with Owner Operations. Portions of the school building will be in operation during the construction phase. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond.
