Construct a Post-Test Lithium Battery Storage Facility to support the storage of post-test lithium-ion batteries. Work includes construction of a 1,750-square-foot cast-in-place concrete pad, an access road for forklift operations, perimeter security fencing with an access gate, and 3-hour rated firewalls. The facility will include concrete wall partitions for storage of larger batteries, a single-pitch non-combustible roof structure designed to permit forklift access, electrical service with low-voltage outlets, and pole-mounted LED flood lighting. The project also includes grounding and bonding of all metallic components, installation of a fire detection and alarm system compatible with the Honeywell Notifier system, and radiant energy fire detection to provide notification to the on-site fire department. Tree removal and replacement, as directed by the Contracting Officer, and all incidental work necessary for a complete and operational facility are included in the scope of work in accordance with the design drawings and specifications. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
