Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade transportation facility.
Conceptual reconfiguration and preliminary design for the reconstruction of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport terminal interior. Services include existing conditions assessment, stakeholder engagement, space programming, design charrettes, alternatives development, interior architecture, guest experience design, building systems design, and cost estimating. The two-level terminal contains approximately 513,000 square feet. The departure level (approximately 265,000 square feet) contains the departure lobby with airline ticketing, the passenger security screening checkpoint, and the concourse serving the gates, the food court and most concessions. The arrivals level (approximately 248,000 square feet) contains the arrivals lobby, the baggage claim hall, the Federal Inspection Service facility serving Gate 1 , TSA offices, and airline operations space, most of which is restricted. The ticket lobby is approximately 350 feet wide with 50- foot ceilings. Public vertical circulation between levels consists of elevators and escalators, with a moving walkway in the East Concourse Extension. Gates are numbered 1 through 26.
