The Contractor must provide all material , labor, tools , plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction of a postal facility for the United States Postal Service (USPS), including all incidental work described in the contract documents. Scope Includes: 1. Electrical Upgrades for Charger Installation a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF), no electrical upgrades will be performed. 2. Lift Replacement/Installation a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no vehicle lifts will be installed. 3. Door Replacement/Installation a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no overhead doors will be installed. b. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no pedestrian doors will be installed . 4. Light Emitting Diode (LED) Lighting a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no LED lighting will be installed. 5. Interior Finish Renovation a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no interior finish renovations will be performed. 6. Exterior finish renovation a. Through this paving project at the Lake Charels VMF, no exterior finish renovations will be performed. 7. Lot Upgrades a. For the Lake Charles, LA VMF, the pavement rehabilitation project includes approximately 21,005 SF of concrete crack sealing and 2,355 SF of full-depth concrete pavement replacement, along with associated pavement marking improvements and wheel stop installation. The parking lot will be restriped to accommodate 17 employee parking spaces, 13 VMF parking spaces, and 2 VMF charging spaces utilizing existing charging equipment. Concrete wheel stops will be installed at designated parking stalls. The existing ADA parking space will be restriped and associated pavement markings refreshed to maintain compliance with current accessibility requirements. The project will be completed in four (4) phases as shown on Sheet CC600 to maintain facility operations throughout construction. Access to the facility shall be maintained throughout construction, with the Common Street access gate remaining open during Phases 1 through 3 while work associated with the Common Street entrance is deferred to Phase 4 Contractor shall provide and maintain erosion and sediment control measures in accordance with LDEQ and local jurisdiction requirements for all disturbed areas.
