Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Provide complete design services, including all required schematics, design development, surveys, cost estimates, construction drawings and specifications, and construction period services (CPS) for the replacement and repair of roofing and lightning protection systems at multiple facilities. The project encompasses approximately 231,000 square feet of roofing across designated buildings and trailers at two Veterans Affairs campuses. Work includes assessment, design, and construction support services necessary to replace aging roofing systems and repair or replace associated lightning protection systems. The objective is to reduce emergency maintenance requirements, improve facility operations, extend roof service life, and provide proper facility protection through updated roofing and lightning protection infrastructure. Construction period services include professional field inspections, review of contractor submittals, responses to requests for information, support for construction contract modifications, preparation of statements of work, and development of cost estimates. Location: Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220; and Fort Thomas VA Campus, 1000 South Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
