The purpose of this RFP is to request Proposals from qualified contractors for the provision of Design-Build services construction renovation services for the Finance Division area located in Langley City Hall. a. Remove and dispose of existing furniture in select areas. Protect existing furniture that is being retained or re-used. Owner to label and provide storage. b. Remove and dispose of select areas of existing framed interior wall assembly, and patch flooring where necessary. C. Remove existing flooring and dispose appropriately. d . Remove and dispose of existing millwork. e. Remove existing flooring and install new. f. Remove and disposal of current walls and ceiling tiles as needed. Remove and salvage existing office doors and frames and reuse if possible and where needed. h. Supply and install new interior doors and frames, where outlined on the drawings and needed. Supply and install underlay and carpet tiles for all areas in Renovation area. j. Repair, reframe wall framing and drywall as required. k. Add soundproofing as required based on room usage and location. I. Replace trim and paint walls so interior rooms and exterior common area match. m. Remove interior window partition. n. Replace select lighting in the office space to LED and dispose of old fixtures and ballasts. o . Repair all affected gypsum wall area, repaint all offices, kitchen, washroom/ and hallways. p. Make good all existing affected surfaces and re-instate to current or better condition.
