The project includes providing the existing MSHP Marine Maintenance Building with a new elevated steel structure storage mezzanine. Additional work includes HVAC duct and RTU replacement that services the bays. The purpose of this project is to provide the existing MSHP Marine Maintenance building with a new elevated steel structure storage mezzanine. This mezzanine is located at the back side of the maintenance bays between the office/restroom and the end wall condition. This mezzanine shall serve as storage for parts and equipment that can be accessed by three points of entry; one being a convenience access stair, another being at the mezzanine level for metal access gate for an in-bay fork lift, and the last is through a newly provided exterior wall opening so that unloading of delivery vehicles can have direct access to the mezzanine storage area. Additional work includes HVAC duct and RTU replacement that serves automotive bays.
