This Request for Bid (RFB) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of Frost 2027 Winter Playground. The Provincial Capital Commission is looking to hire an organization to design, build, and maintain a premium quality interactive structure made of snow and ice that will consist of a maze, slides, and art carving. Given the premier status of the Frost Regina Winter Festival, it is critical that all interested parties have proven experience building a similar structure at either a large-scale winter event, or with organizations that could be considered at a equal or greater level. It is also required that the proponent have the proven ability to design, build, and maintain this structure for the duration of the festival, including the sourcing/supplying of all snow and ice needed. The proponent must also have the proven ability to create artwork in the snow and ice that is at a professional level that is expected at an event of this caliber.
