Renovation of a medical facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
In general the work consists of replacement of the fire alarm system field devices throughout the campus at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. 3 buildings across campus are included in this scope of work including Sherman Hall, Petersik, and Gordon Hall. The scope includes replacing all initiation and notification appliances including smoke and heat detectors, horns, strobes, and pull stations. Areas housing patients will require anti-ligature, vandal resistant devices. Speaker/strobe combination devices will replace existing horn notification. Wiring/conduit upgrades and additional Amplifiers and NAC booster panels are required. Notification appliance circuits and initiating device circuits will be fully new. The fire alarm panels were recently upgraded and will be existing to remain, serving the new field devices and EVAC amplifier. The existing fire alarm system must remain fully functional during construction, phased in a way to minimize outages and impact on daily facility operations. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted.
