The Scope of Work includes construction of a new Amtrak station including a 17-space vehicular parking lot, sidewalks, station platform, canopy, lighting, earthwork, traffic control, erosion control and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. The City of De Soto anticipates issuing notice to proceed (NTP) in January 2027, but this will be contingent upon the City executing a Construction and Maintenance agreement and lease with the railroad. Upon successful award, the Owner may elect to procure materials prior to NTP. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date and/or complete the Contractors Statement of Qualifications and supply with the Contractor's bid proposal.
