Repair or replace the rooftop pergola structure at the Ormond Memorial Arts Museum. Project Overview The City of Ormond Beach is seeking qualified contractors to remove and replace the existing pergola roof structure and install a new insulated composite roofing system . The work shall include the removal of the existing upper pergola structure, installation of new structural beams and roofing components, and attachment to the existing aluminum posts and outer sleeves. An optional item is included for the installation of two composite roof awnings above the vendor areas. All work shall comply with applicable building codes, permitting requirements, engineering specifications, and City of Ormond Beach standards. 2. Base Quote - Pergola Roof Replacement The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permitting, engineering, and services necessary to complete the following work: A. Removal and Site Preparation Remove the existing upper pergola structure and beam system. Haul away and properly dispose of all removed materials and debris. Retain the existing aluminum posts and outer sleeves for reuse. Protect adjacent structures, surfaces, and existing site improvements during construction. B. Structural Beam and Roof Installation Furnish and install a new beam and roof structure attached to the existing aluminum posts. Inspect existing posts and attachment locations to determine suitability for the proposed installation. Ensure all connections and post attachments meet applicable engineering requirements and are verified during the required site inspection. Pitch the roof outward at a minimum slope of 1/2 inch per foot to provide proper drainage. Provide all necessary structural connections, bracing, and fastening components required for a complete installation. C. Insulated Composite Roofing System Furnish and install a 3-inch insulated composite roof system . Provide approximately 975 square feet of total roof coverage, including a 1 -foot overhang on all sides. Furnish and install white aluminum support beams and perimeter tails. Furnish and install 3-inch white extruded drip-edge fascia. Include four internal fan beams with wiring provisions. Electrical connections, fan installation, and final electrical hookup are excluded unless otherwise specified by the City Provide stainless steel fasteners for all applicable connections and installations. Ensure all roofing components are properly secured, weather-resistant, and installed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and approved engineering documents. 3. Optional Item - Vendor Area Awnings The contractor shall provide a separate price for the following optional work: Furnish and install two composite roof awnings above the designated vendor areas. Each awning shall measure approximately 6 feet by 14 feet. Match the roofing materials, colors, and overall appearance of the main pergola roof replacement. Provide the required beams, structural supports, and bracing above the roof to maintain an unobstructed area below the awnings without posts interfering with vendor operations. Ensure the awnings and supporting structures meet applicable building codes, wind-load requirements, and engineering specifications. Include all labor, materials, equipment, and other requirements necessary for a complete installation. Work to be completed within 60 days of Notice to Proceed.
