Asphalt paving improvements to five rural roadways including asphalt placement on county-prepared surfaces and centerline striping. Question Deadline 11/19/2026 at 3:00 PM ET. The work consists of asphalt paving on designated portions of five existing rural, unpaved dirt/asphalt milling/limerock roadways. Bidders shall anticipate conditions typical of rural, unpaved roadways, including variable surfaces, limited shoulders and limited access. Baker County Public Works will perform the necessary roadway preparation, including grading, shaping and other preparation deemed appropriate by the County, prior to paving. The contractor shall inspect the prepared surface and notify the County of any concerns before asphalt placement. Bob Kirkland - - 1,879 feet long by 18 foot wide. This segment starts at beginning of roadway connection at Sandsdale Road up to the North side of North 40 Circle then proceeds 705 feet by 16 feet wide. 2. Blue Hole - 4,300 feet long by 18 feet wide. This segment starts at beginning of roadway connection at SR 121 and concludes at Shaves Bluff Road. 3. Shaves Bluff - Shaves Bluff West is 501 feet long by 15 foot wide. Measured from the center lane of Blue Hole Road. This segment starts at the terminus of Blue Hole Road and shifts westward (left turn). Shaves Bluff East is 1,550 feet long by 16 foot wide. (Cul-de- sac is excluded from project). This segment starts at the terminus of Blue Hole Road and shifts eastward (right turn). 4. Pinetop- This segment starts at the south side of the railroad crossing, 2,635 feet long by 18-foot wide and terminates at 9319 Pinetop Road. From there, it is 1,444 feet long and 18 foot wide- (asphalt level drops to 1.5" for this segment). - 5. Miltondale Curve _300 feet by 20 feet.
