The Project consists of the repair and alteration of the existing 1908 courthouse. Work includes removing and extending the north and south monumental stairs as well as replacing and raising the east and west entries. Limited structural repair work to cracked concrete arches in the basement and other cracked beams is also included. Masonry work includes repair and patching of existing spalled limestone, re-anchoring with helical anchors and pointing as well as limited brick pointing and repair. Door hardware is modified for security by adding magnetic locks and access control . A perimeter drainage system is also added to remove ground water from seeping into the stonework.
