Demolition and replacement of one rooftop unit (RTU-1) and associated components including general, electrical, and temperature control work. The entire project is within South High School at 14905 Q St Omaha, NE 68137. The project consists of removal and replacement of air handling rooftop unit (RTU- 1 ), roofing work, and associated electrical and temperature control work. B. Work under this contract includes all material , labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the South High School RTU- 1 Replacement. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation. Contractors and MPS staff will work closely to isolate areas of work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building.
