Annual inspection, maintenance, and repair services for the water system equipment serving the Walla Walla Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WWVAMC). The contractor shall furnish all labor, travel, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to perform complete annual inspections and as-needed repair and maintenance of the potable water system. The system is a Washington State Group A small water system supplied by an on-site well, with a backup connection to the City of Walla Walla for continuity of service during maintenance and inspections. Covered equipment includes the pump control panel, well water level control panel, well head pump, well head flow meter, on-site electrolytic sodium hypochlorite generation chlorination system, chlorine tanks and off-gas ventilation components, overflow pump, water tower level control panel, water tower mixer pump, water tower tank structure, and cathodic protection system. The water system serves VA-owned facilities and community partner properties, including residential housing, food production, childcare, and recreational facilities.
