The project consists of an interior and exterior remodel of an existing 7,780 S.F. PEMB structure for Dispatch Service. Interior scope includes the renovation of restroom, kitchen, breakroom, communication room, office spaces, and IT room. Exterior scope includes removing existing windows, relocating downspout and resealing roof penetration. With additional outdoor kitchen patio area, exterior door, windows, and mechanical equipment. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals. Proposals not submitted in accordance with the Request for Proposal requirements shall not be scored or considered. No late submissions shall be considered. The Proposer shall secure and submit with Bid Proposal Form a Bid Bond in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder is required to enter into the Standard Form of Agreement (AIA Document 201) and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract Price, along with all required insurance in the stated amounts within Ten (10) Days of the Notice of Award. Unless otherwise expressly provided herein, all references to "day(s)" shall mean calendar day(s). The undersigned Bidder agrees to commence work within 10 days of the date of a written Notice to Proceed. It is understood that the Work is to be Substantially Complete within Two-Hundred Forty Three (243) Days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Time for Substantial Completion shall begin on the date established by the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor will pay Liquidated Damages in the amount(s) specified in the Supplementary Conditions, Section 00 73 00, in the event the Work is not Substantially Complete within the Contract Time.
