Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. Project Location: York County, 149 Jordan Springs Road, Alfred, ME 04002. As part of the ongoing wastewater upgrades for the York County Jails subsurface wastewater system; this project consists of the construction of a one story, steel, auger/grinder building (532 sq ft), concrete foundation, metal insulated panel siding, insulated coiling metal door, roofing, and other work indicated in the contract documents. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades) Prior to Bid, all questions are to be submitted in writing to Jeff Bathalon, construction.admin@oakpoint.com, with Sewer Grinder - Muffin Monster Building in the subject line, by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on January 9, 2024. No phone calls will be accepted. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work on or before October 28, 2024. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.
