**As of August 4, 2025, the project was awarded to Bert Gosselin's Maintenance Service but the awarded amount is not available.** Description: Federal Aid Project No. 2476900, WIN 024769.00 Location: In Kennebec County, project is located on Water Street, at the intersections of Bond Street and Northern Avenue, and the intersection of Bond Street and Mt. Vernon Street, in Augusta. Outline of Work: Reconstruct existing sidewalk ramps, install rectangular rapid flashing beacons, reconstruct cross walks with the use of in-roadway warning lights, and other incidental work. For project-specific questions, please fill out the attached RFI Form and email it to tyler.pease@augustamaine.gov, with the project name and WIN in the subject line. Bidders shall not contact anyone else for clarification of contract provisions. Questions received after July 25, 2025 will not be answered. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Municipality and must be accompanied by a bid bond of 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order for 5% of the bid amount, payable to Municipality of Augusta, as a Bid Guaranty. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100% of the Contract price, shall be required of the successful Bidder. The lowest responsive bidder must demonstrate to the Municipality that it is qualified to undertake the work to be considered for the award of this contract. Current pre-qualification by the Maine Department of Transportation in an appropriate category may fulfill this requirement. This Contract is subject to all applicable federal laws, as well as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT).
