Renovation of a mixed-use development in Augusta, Maine. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Provide Architect/Engineer (A/E) services to evaluate existing conditions, propose corrective measures, and develop a construction project design for the repair of Chiller 3 at the VA Maine Health Care System. Services include Type A A/E investigative services and schematic design, with design completion to approximately 35 percent. Work includes site visits, field investigations, studies, user interviews, preparation of drawings, and cost estimates for all required disciplines and trades. The objective is to repair Chiller 3 so it operates as originally designed and to address identified cooling and oil leaks. The project requires evaluation of existing conditions, development of corrective recommendations, and preparation of design documentation and construction cost estimates necessary to support future repair work. Location: VA Maine Health Care System (Togus), 1 VA Center, Augusta, ME 04330. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
