The Bureau of General Services is conducting a competitive bid process for the Roof Replacement and Envelope Upgrades at the Stone Building in Augusta, Maine. This project includes the roof replacements of various existing asphalt shingle roof systems with new synthetic shingle or natural slate and existing elastomeric systems with new elastomeric or copper roofing. Removal and replacement of existing damaged natural slate in targeted areas. Installation of exterior grade plywood at select windows. Repair of stone masonry defects including but not limited to cracked/spalled stone and deteriorated mortar joints.
