Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bethel, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work includes, Construction of a new 540' x 25' paved Taxilane at the Bethel Regional Airport, and related storm water improvements. Specific items include: stripping stockpiling of topsoil; excavation / embankment of earth materials; placement of gravel base courses; placement of Hot Mix Asphalt pavement; construction of chain-link fencing; removal of existing fencing; installation of drainage culverts; construction of concrete duct banks; removal of light poles; construction of infiltration basin; installation of erosion control measures; top soiling and seeding; and incidental related work. Bids description: Bids submitted after this date and time will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as: "DO NOT OPEN SEALED BID 2025 Airport Improvements Construct Taxilane Bethel Regional Airport Bethel, Maine AIP Project 3-23-0008-xxx-2025". Prospective bidders should access the OneDrive link on a regular basis to be aware of any new data that may be added to the OneDrive link. Prospective bidders shall not, for any reason, provide the access credentials to any other person or entity. Bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted with the Bid Proposal. The bid security may be either a certified check or a proposal guaranty bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Maine. Bid security shall be made payable to the Town of Bethel. Bids submitted without security will not be considered. Construction under this contract will be funded by Federal Grant under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP), with participation by the State of Maine Department of Transportation and the Town of Bethel (Owner). Award of this contract by the Town will be contingent upon receipt of federal and state funding under the AIP Program. The Town of Bethel reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. No bidder may withdraw it's bid for a period of 120 days following the bid opening.
