Segment 2 is located on Interstate 295 Northbound beginning at the Portland City Line and extending north 21.93 miles north to the MCRR Bridge #6270 in Topsham. In Cumberland County: Segment 3 is located on Interstate 295 Southbound beginning 0.02 north of the Falmouth town line in Falmouth and extending north 7.57 miles to 0.29 miles north of the MTA toll plaza in South Portland. Segment 4 is located on Interstate 295 Northbound beginning in South Portland 0.29 miles north of the MTA toll plaza and extending north 7.55 miles to 0.02 north of the Falmouth town line in Falmouth. In Penobscot County: Segment 5 is located on Interstate 95 Southbound beginning 0.15 miles north of the Coldbrook Road Overpass in Hampden and extending south 22.37 miles to MCRR Bridge #1441 in Newport.
