Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of the construction of new storm drainage, sidewalks, curbing, full-depth road reconstruction and widening, fire hydrant relocation, and water service improvements on an approximately 1,450 linear foot section of Scott Dyer Road from the Patricia Drive intersection to the Spurwink Avenue intersection in the Town of Cape Elizabeth. The Town of Cape Elizabeth is seeking to have the work completed in 2019 to achieve a base course pavement level in Scott Dyer Road which eventually be surface paved by others. The construction shall be substantially completed within a total duration of 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for every day beyond the contract duration that the work remains incomplete. A 5% Bid Bond is required to be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond to cover the execution of the contract which shall be in conformity with the forms of bonds indicated in the Specifications and for the contract amount. The Town of Cape Elizabeth reserves the right to waive all informalities and reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal.
