The Casco Bay Island Transit District, a quasi-municipal ferry boat operator in Casco Bay, is seeking proposals for shipyard services for the 110' X 32' ferry boat Wabanaki. Work includes dry docking, painting, propulsion driveline maintenance and various items associated with USCG hull inspection. The District solicits and encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation. Casco Bay Lines, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the accompanying Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award For information on details, please contact: Nick Mavodones Casco Bay Island Transit District P.O.
