The Town of Danforth is accepting bids for removing snow and controlling ice on public ways and stockpiling 1,900 yards of salt/sand for each year of a three (3) year contract starting with the 2024/2025 season and ending 2026/2027. The bid will be accepted on snow removal and ice control for 16 miles of road. The contractor is to furnish all necessary equipment and to provide certificates of liability/property damage insurance coverage in the amount of $400,000.00 and worker's compensation insurance coverage. The Town will provide the salt and the Contractor will provide screened sand, to be stored in the Town gravel pit. The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
