Description: Maine Federal Aid Project Nos. 2732400, WIN 27324.00 & 2732800, WIN 27328.00. Location: In Penobscot County: Project 2732400 is located on US Route 202 beginning 0.05 of a mile East of the Troy/Dixmont Town Line and extending East 10.70 miles. Project 2732800 is located on US Route 2 beginning 0.09 of a mile East of the Route 11 intersection in Newport and extending Southeast 0.98 miles. Outline of Work: Pavement Milling, Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay, Cyclical Pavement Resurfacing with Drainage and Safety Improvements, and other incidental work. Questions received after 12:00 noon of Monday (or if that Monday is a state holiday, Friday) prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TTY users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, cach in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids. MEDOT - Pavement Milling, Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay, Cyclical Pavement Resurfacing with Drainage and Safety Improvements DBE participation goal of 1.02%, MBE (0.8%), WBE (6.9%)
