The project is expected to be awarded on September 6, 2022.** This project involves the installation of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved 2-box Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) on the approach end of Runway 15. Work will include removal of existing cables, and installation of new cables and conduit. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Worksheet. Prospective bidders are asked to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed in order to comply with FAA regulations. Prospective bidders will be asked to provide this information at time of plan purchase. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Contractor on this work will be required to comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Eastport Municipal Airport DBE Program.
