A project manager has been selected and evaluations are still in progress. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Eliot, Maine (Town) is soliciting Technical Proposals from qualified firms or individuals to serve as an Owner's Project Manager (OPM) to assist with the management of the construction phase of the Route 236 Sewer & Water Extension Project (Project), which generally consists of the installation of new sewer and water lines along State Route 236 (Harold L. Dow Hwy.) and connecting roads; the installation of a sewer force main along Beech Rd. and State Rd. to connect the Project with the existing sanitary sewer system; and the construction of two new sewer pump stations. The OPM will serve in a temporary role for the duration of the project as an in-house consultant and extension of staff, representing the Town and serving as a primary point of contact for the Project contractor(s) and engineering firm, Underwood Engineers Requests for clarification and additional information must be submitted by email to the RFP Coordinator listed in Section 2 above by 5:00 p.m. on July 14, 2022. Such correspondence must reference the Project Title in the subject line. Responses will be placed on the Town's website by the close of business on July 18, 2022. Late requests for clarification will not be accepted. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
