Site work and paving for a civil project in Fryeburg, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 9, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. Project will not be awarded until June..** The project involves full depth pavement reclamation, culvert installations, grass-lined ditching, variable depth gravel base, hot mix asphalt base and surface paving, and installing gravel shoulders of approximately 2,855 linear feet on South Chatham Road in Fryeburg. The Town of Fryeburg will have one hundred twenty (120) calendar days within which to accept or reject any bid. Work shall be completed by September 26, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per day are contained in the Contract. The Town of Fryeburg reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. Award of the contract is contingent upon funding approval at the annual Town Meeting in June 2025. The Town of Fryeburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Fryeburg, not necessarily the lowest bid.
