Site work, paving and new construction of a fire / police facility in Hancock, Maine. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,180-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for paving for a fire / police facility.
Proposal must be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond of 5% of the proposal (checks will not be accepted). The owner reserves the right to waive all formalities and reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% payment and performance bond to cover the execution of the contract which shall be in conformity with the form of bonds required in the specifications and for the contract amount. The project consists of a new wood framed 5180 Sq. ft. +- fire station building including truck bays, locker rooms, meeting room and office spaces shown on the contract documents. The base bid shall also include the Truck Exhaust System and Site Paving. Work consists of constructing a new 5564 S.F wood framed fire station and associated mechanical/ electrical and site work as shown. Building will include four truck bays, office, boiler room, locker rooms, training room with kitchenette, and unfinished partial second story. Work will include site work, hot mix asphalt paving, concrete foundation, wood framing, truss roof framing, metal roofing, L.P Smartside siding, Gypsum Board walls and ceilings, floor finish (see schedule), vinyl windows, overhead doors, wood doors, steel frames, hardware, plumbing, heating, electrical and diesel exhaust system
