Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Houlton, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work may include but is not necessarily limited to: Construction of two fueling systems at the airport, one for 100 low lead aviation gasoline and one for jet A fuel. Construction will include removal of existing pumps, electrical, piping, and below ground tanks, restoration of existing below ground tank sites, excavation of existing soils, placement of gravels, rebar, and concrete pads, and providing a complete fueling system including electrical, piping, pumps, tanks, fueling skids and credit card kiosks. All Requests for Information (RFI's) must be submitted no later than Monday, April 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. to the Engineer, using airport.bids@stantec.com email address. The Town of Houlton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Airport. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 30 days following the bid opening.
